First Look//Break or Keep Tradition

Every time I look back  at these photos I’m like “I was pregnant and didn’t know it!” We had this photo session done when we got back from our honeymoon. We have this sort of tradition to take photos over at my grandparents house. For example, I have had sweet sixteen, senior photos, engagement, wedding, maternity, and we will have gracie’s first birthday pictures made here as well. On our wedding day we wanted to stick with tradition and not see each other until I was walking down the isle. I wanted that to be our special moment. However, that doesn’t leave much time for pictures unless we want to keep our guests waiting forever. This is the reason many people decide to do a first look photo session the day of their wedding before they actually get married. This is great because it is actually on your wedding day. In order to do ours a week later we had to make sure Steven could keep his tux longer, make me another hair appointment, and schedule it with the photographer. We were able to do all of this and it turned out great! This gave us an opportunity to get all of the poses that we really didn’t have time to take on the wedding day as well. I definitely recommend doing this if you can. So anyways, here are those pictures!
